Privacy Policy


(a) The terms set out in this Data Protection Statement apply to any information you give to Shortbite Ltd and/or any member of Shortbite Ltd / DigitalBridge from time to time. It will also apply to any information you have already provided.

(b) We may revise or supplement our Data Protection Statement from time to time for any of the following reasons:

  • to provide for the introduction of new or improved systems, methods of operation, services or facilities;
  • to comply with or anticipate any changes in any legal or regulatory requirement;
  • to ensure that our business is run prudently;
  • to make our Data Protection Statement clearer or more favourable to you; or
  • to rectify any mistake that might be discovered from time to time.

(c) You must not send us personal information about someone else without first getting his or her consent for it to be used and disclosed in the ways set out in our Data Protection Statement. This is because we will assume he or she has consented, although we may still ask for confirmation from them. Where you do give us information about someone else, or someone else discloses a connection with you, that information may be taken into account with your other personal information.

(d) We treat your privacy very seriously and we understand that you will wish to know how we will use the information we collect from or about you. We use your personal information in accordance with our Data Protection Statement and will fully comply with all applicable UK data protection legislation (including the Data Protection Act 2018). It is important that you take all necessary and appropriate steps to protect your data yourself (for example, by ensuring that all passwords and access codes are kept secure).

(e) DigitalBridge is the name given to the platform run by the company Shortbite Ltd.


We ask for, process and store data either for the performance of a contract or for the purposes of legitimate interests pursued by us, for example providing our services.


We may collect and process the following information about you:

(a) Information you provide (either directly or through a partner website using our APIs ) by creating an account with them, or subscribing to marketing and/or blog updates via our website.

This information may include your name, email address, ip address, and contact details.

Whilst working with our platform, we may also collect and store pictures you take of your room, room dimensions and layout, and room description.

(b) Records of any correspondence from you or anyone acting on your behalf.

(c) Details of interactions you carry out with us via our or a 3rd party website.

(d) Cookie Information, linking your session on a device to your account.


Data you provide to us from drawings, photos, and figures entered on our website or our consumers website may be used for machine learning purposes. All personally identifiable data is removed before this process, so that data is sent anonymously. Machine learning is done in house without the use of third parties. Data that is aggregated can include but is not limited to the follow;

  • Height, width, and length dimensions of a room.
  • Position, orientation, and dimensions of doors and windows within a room.
  • Dimensions and item type of any objects added to a room ( e.g. bath ).
  • Position and Orientation of any objects added to a room.


We process, transfer, delete and disclose your information for the following purpose:

  1. From time to time we will contact you about products and services available from Shortbite Ltd which we believe are of interest to you. We will only do this via e-mail, text or other electronic means if you have given us consent that we can. You can withdraw consent at any time if you change your mind.
  2. Providing you with our online services, managing your account, complying with GDPR processes, and complying with your own instructions to us.
  3. Analysis of your interaction with our services in order to provide a better service in the future.
  4. Analysis of any room photos uploaded for use in deep-learning to enable our algorithms to be improved the future.
  5. Surveys directed at you to gain an understanding of your experience of using our services, in order for us to improve them in the future. Commonly referred to as a feedback form.


  1. A limited subset of your data, such as ip address, may be passed on to third party companies who provide our website analytical tools. Other details such as name / email address etc will not be provided to these companies.
  2. We may also disclose your personal information to third parties in the following circumstances:
  3. In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer.
  4. If Shortbite Ltd are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by it about its customers will be one of the transferred assets.
  5. If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Shortbite Ltd.


We do not transfer your data to any third parties.


Subject to some exceptions, you have a right to access personal data that is held about you. To obtain a copy of the personal information we hold, you should write to the following address:

We will respond to you within thirty days of receipt of the request. If there are any inaccuracies in the information we hold about you, please notify us of this in order that we may correct the information we hold about you.

Please note that we do not store passwords in plain text, thus any password information will be blank in a data request document.


You have the right to have all personal data that is held about you deleted. To do this please write to the following address;

In order to identify you, please provide an email address associated with your account. Please note that with services where Shortbite Ltd is the subcontractor to a business who manages your account, you should use the 3rd parties data removal process first, as in these cases Shortbite Ltd will not store your email address.

We will respond to you within thirty days of receipt of the request, along with confirmation that the requested data has been deleted. Please note that your account, projects, photos etc will all be removed, and you will no longer be able to log in. This process is non-reversible, so please ensure you have downloaded any media you have generated from the website before hand.
